111 is the NHS non-emergency number. It’s fast, easy and free. Call 111 and speak to a highly trained adviser, supported by healthcare professionals. They will ask you a series of questions to assess your symptoms and immediately direct you to the best medical care for you.

NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.

In case of a life-threatening emergency, please dial 999.

Non-urgent advice: Accessing the surgery

The Manor Surgery has a car park with spaces reserved for those who have a disability or require a wheelchair. The car park is free to use and easy to access. If the car park is full, there is a lot of free parking situated around the surgery.

The surgery has wheelchair accessible doors and a disabled toilet. A hearing loop is available in reception.

The surgery also has a baby changing space and a private room for breast feeding.

Non-urgent advice: Enhanced Access

Extra evening and weekend appointments available in local area. You can now book routine GP and Nurse appointments in the evening, at weekends and over bank holidays in your local area. Pre-bookable appointments are available Monday-Friday, 6.30pm-8pm, plus weekends and bank holidays and you can be seen by a GP, Nurse or Healthcare Assistant. To book your appointment, contact the surgery during normal opening hours. Please be aware that the appointment may take place at another GP Practice in the area.

If you or your family need urgent medical care when the surgery is closed, please call free phone 111. Calls are free from both landlines and mobiles. Your needs will be assessed and you will either be given advice or arrangements will be made for you to be seen by a healthcare professional. If the advisor thinks your condition is more serious they will direct you to a hospital or send an ambulance. Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
