Once a GP refers you to the hospital and the referral is accepted, you will be added to a waiting list. Your hospital team will be in touch with you as soon as they can. Unfortunately, waiting lists can be quite long currently, and this can be hard to manage if you are suffering.
If you would like to find out when your appointment is, or where you are on the waiting list, you will need to contact the hospital. This can be done by calling the hospital and asking for more information. You will likely need your NHS number to do this.
